There is an exclamation because I can’t contain my excitement!
I have wanted to have a space to meet with clients for over a year and wasn’t sure
how that was going to happen. Previously I have had clients to my home which worked
out but wasn’t the most convenient. It’s important to me to meet face to face with
my clients. I strive to be hands on and helpful so whether it was meeting in my home, in a coffee shop
or somewhere else, meeting up will happen.
I’ve kind of been on the lookout for a space the past year and I was in the Jutila Center in Hancock
a few times and was curious if it would work for me. I met with them and discussed options. That
was a month ago.. lol.. I now have the keys and a signed lease. I don’t waste time 😉
So here it is…. A blank slate. It’s small and cozy, but it’s bright and all mine and
convienent and easy for my clients to find me and meet with me.
My inspiration board: I’ll be painting it a soft grey – hopefully within the week. I hope for it to be comfortable and
inviting space for my clients and myself 🙂
I’ll keep you all posted on the progress….
I had my last senior session on Sunday. What a year! It’s been a super busy last few months so I’m looking forward to wrapping up the senior season and having a little bit of free time on my hands. It’s hard to schedule sessions this late in the year because the weather is so unpredictable so it’s a good time to end sessions.
So, I’ll be moving on to the next thing…. Newborns!
I’ll be taking a very limited number of newborns November-May. I love photographing newborns and they will fit into my schedule nicely over the winter months.
So if you or someone you know is having a new little babes between November and May, send them my way! Sessions should be scheduled well in advance so it’s never too early to pencil in a date on my calendar.
Yesterday I sent 3 out of 3 kiddos to school. I’ve spent the
last 9 years home with them… until yesterday.
Life is bringing me a lot of new stages and phases lately.
I am embracing them as they come 🙂
Right now my to-do list is endless so I’ll still be home (kidless)
until boredom kicks in. I don’t think that should be a problem though.
I have plenty of things to keep me busy such as blogging
some of those sessions that have kept me busy all summer 😉
Also, I plan to photograph newborns again! I’m still
working on getting my info together on that (on that to-do list)
but if you are expecting a bundle of joy over the next 9
months contact me to set up that session! I prefer babies
to be less than 10 days old so sessions should be scheduled
before baby is born. I’ll be doing a limited
number of sessions each month.
