Go Big or Go home

Well, maybe the title is a little dramatic but to really make a statement with your pictures going big is the way to go!

It used to be that all we ever had on our walls were 8×10’s and 5×7’s.  Over the past few years I have been having fun with huge prints on the wall.  I’m finally replacing them with better quality pictures and these larger than life prints make me smile every time I look at them.

Our new family picture is a big ole 20×24.  I like this large framed picture leaning on a table.  We have really high ceilings in this old craftsman house so I like how this large print takes up some of that wall space.

There is a 16×20 of each of my kids in the play room.

If you do want to go with the smaller sizes consider framing them with a large mat.  This 5×7 and 8×10 feel much larger when surrounded by a wide mat.

Happy Framing!

~ Junkyard Jennifer - Love the huge pictures! They look really nice.

I hope it'll work out to get our family pictures and baby pictures taken next year sometime with you. I'd love some huge prints for our wall going up the steps to the loft.

Heidi Sue - I love the look of huge pictures! I wish I had something sweet to put by our main door. That wall is so big and white and empty…ReplyCancel
