Michael and Jessica were married last Saturday at Little Presque Isle in Marquette.
Somehow they managed to have a rain free day! It was a bit dreary and
foggy all day but the two of them had big smiles and
were just thrilled to be getting married despite what the weather chose to do.
We started out at the couples house where Jessica
had her final prep. Such a beautiful dress!
I love the bright cheery orange of the bridesmaid dresses. The beautiful daisy and lily and bouquets were provided
by Flower Works.
Jessica’s grandmother made her garter and also provided her own wedding
hankie as her something borrowed.
I wasn’t sure what the ceremony site would look like
having never been to Little Presque Isle. I was picturing a beach
setting but Michael and Jessica held their ceremony
among the trees before the beach. It was really a neat and unique ceremony site.
Both are outdoorsy people so this is so fitting to them. 🙂
Waiting to say I DO!
Look at that big smile!Helping his new wife reach an itch 😉 Bug spray was
a necessity for this ceremony! There were mosquitoes in the woods and
sand flies on the beach. These flies covered Jessica’s dress!
That is the U.P. for ya! Down to Lower Harbor for a
few more portraits. Then off to the Ramada downtown for a fun filled
reception.First dance as Mr. and Mrs.Such a heartfelt daddy + daughter (+ Mother 😉 ) dance!Thank you Michael and Jessica
for a wonderful day full of
fun and laughs! Congrats to both of you! 🙂
