Jason + Angie { An Ontonagon, MI beach wedding }

You know it was a great wedding when you smile the whole way
through processing the photos.  I think I tend to do
that with most weddings.  I get to re-live them every time I work
on the photos.  This wedding had me smiling and laughing at times while editing.

Angie and Jason have been together for 8 years.
When they decided to get married, Jason thought it
would just be a simple small affair at the courthouse.   Angie had other plans.  She is a pinterest queen!   And let me tell you, that is a photographers dream!

She had so many awesome and fun ideas and details
throughout the day.  It was all around an amazing day!   HOT but amazing 😉

The wedding was at Angie’s parents house on the shores
of Lake Superior in Ontonagon.

Angie has two little doggies.  They followed her around all day.
You can find them in many of the photos below 😉
My favorite idea that Angie had was these brooch bouquets
that her mom and Jason’s mom made!
They were gorgeous!  I’ve never seen anything like it!
Having a moment with Mom before the ceremony.
I sent my second shooter Claire down the road to check up on the guys.
The groom was getting a last minute haircut
with regular household scissors…lol.
The guys arriving at the ceremony site.
And the handsome and happy groom 🙂
Love this one!
Angie was just beautiful!   All smiles all day too!
Seriously!!  Amazing!!   Sometimes I can’t believe I live in
an area this gorgeous!
Angie’s dad made the trellis out of driftwood.  Isn’t that the
neatest thing!  I was floored when I saw it!

Ribbon streamers and fan programs 🙂The bride and groom exited to bubbles and ribbon streamers.  So fun!
This was the best bridal party!  They were up for anything
and everything!  Despite the crazy heat, they were champs!
The reception was at the Americinn in Silver City.  It was a
really neat place to have a reception.  It’s right on the beach
and really pretty outside.

First dance as Mr. & Mrs.  🙂
We took a few minutes to get some more portraits done
down on the beach shortly before the sun set.  Thanks to Claire for this great capture 🙂

I wish you both a lifetime of laughter, love and
happiness!  I don’t think that will be any trouble
for you guys! 😉
